Why did God place unclean animals on the Ark?
Hello Sibling!
This is a great question. The Father created all animals with a purpose – even the unclean ones.
For example: Did you know that one of the things a pig does is that it consumes feces and dead things? Having pigs on the Ark would have been extremely beneficial when it came to keeping it clean. It would have been difficult to shovel all of the feces of all the animals out into the water; but what they could do was use these animals to help keep the Ark clean.
Just like pigs, carrion birds such as buzzards, have a very necessary job of cleaning up the carcasses of animals. Have you ever seen what is left after a carrion bird cleans up a carcass? Nothing is left. As gross as this is to think about, it is a necessary job.
Consider other unclean animals that keep the insect population in check such as bats, anteaters and rats. All of these creatures, even if we don’t like them, exist for a purpose.
I like to think of unclean animals as the “clean-up crew” of the earth and waters. Without these clean-up crews, our lands can become disease-ridden, and our waters can become unsanitary, dirty, polluted, and undrinkable.
Unclean animals are a part of the Father’s perfect design to help keep our earth clean and our bodies healthy. I am so grateful for the creation of these types of animals.
I hope this helps.
