Rabbit Trails

Today’s readings read like a pep talk before you go out into the world. Reminding you of who you are and who your Father is.

Psalm 18:6-19 – This Psalm makes me feel so loved, reading of the lengths and extent the Father will go to in order to rescue one of His children!

He drew me out of many waters. He rescued me from my strong enemy… ~Psalm 18:16-17

And what a beautiful description of our Father’s wisdom in Psalm 19:7-11!

The law of the Lord is perfect,
reviving the soul;
the testimony of the Lord is sure,
making wise the simple;
the precepts of the Lord are right,
rejoicing the heart;
the commandment of the Lord is pure,
enlightening the eyes;
the fear of the Lord is clean,
enduring forever;
the rules of the Lord are true,
and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold,
even much fine gold;
sweeter also than honey
and drippings of the honeycomb.
Moreover, by them is your servant warned;
in keeping them there is great reward.

These readings are like a sweet dessert for us today. May we take our time with them, savor each morsel, and take them to soul.

My Bible and my work preparing the house for some family time awaits.

She looks well to the ways of her household
    and does not eat the bread of idleness. Proverbs 31:27

Test everything, hold tight to what is good.~ 1 Thess 5:21

We are saved by Grace alone: Obedience is not the root of our salvation, it is the fruit!

May YHWH bless the reading of His Word!
